Hello All,

The Savoe Libray Blog has been created in order to keep everyone update to date on what is going on you, the students, about what is going on in the the Library. For instance if new books have arrived or what concepts are being taught in class. Also I will try to include a featured book of the month that I hope you will read and comment on. All comments are sent to me for approval before being posted so do not write anything inappropriate or your comments may not be posted.

Summer Reading 2008 Grade 6

Summer Reading Info for
Students Entering Grade 6:
  • Choose 2 books, read them, then complete 2 summer reading actitvities. These activities will be graded by your English teacher and will take the place of your lowest test/quiz grade.
  • The booklist is only a suggestion but the choice of the books read is up to the students.
  • Summer Reading Activities: (1) Book Report, (2) Take or Draw a Picture write a caption and news article, or (3) Create a cartoon strip related to the plot of the book. Assignments must be handed in to your English teacher by September 12, 2008!
